ExpressionEngine Screencasts

Thank You!

May 28, 2008

Thanks so much to everyone who has taken the time to purchase the screencasts and for sending feedback (by email, forum, Twitter, however) to me. It's awesome to hear that the 'casts come at the right time for so many people and that you are finding them helpful.

A lot of you did have some questions and many of you had the same question! I want to answer a couple of them right now.

How many screencasts will there be?

The truthful answer on this is that I don't know. I do have a handful more planned out but beyond that I'm hopeful that feedback from the community will help shape future episodes.

I think people were asking because of the episodic nature of the screencasts and they were concerned if they were getting into this for 5 screencasts, 10 screencasts, 100 screencasts! The episodes will build on each other but the source code is available for each installment, including all of the work that has been done up to that point. So, you can pop in to episodes out of order and have the code you need to get started.

How will I know when new screencasts are available?

I will announce them here in this space, on my Twitter account and if you opted to get notified by Pragmatic Programmers of new episodes, you will automatically get an email when new 'casts are released. This preference can be adjust in the profile section of the PragProg site.

So, thank you for your support and feedback so far. I look forward to hearing from more of you!
