Episode 6: Creating a Stand Alone Entry Form (SAEF)

Jun 17, 2008

Did you know that using the control panel isn't the only way to add entries to an ExpressionEngine site? It's true. Using the EE Stand Alone Entry Form (commonly referred to as SAEF), you can allow logged-in users post content to the site without using the Control Panel.

Episode 6 of the ExpressionEngine screencast series covers building out a SAEF on the Engine City Times website. We add the SAEF so newspaper readers can submit Letters to the Editor and have their letters added to the EE system.
