Adding Membership to Your ExpressionEngine Site - Episode 8

Jul 01, 2008

Out of all of the requests for episode topics, something to do with membership was the most requested. There were different variations of the request — some more specific, some more advanced than others. But it was obvious to me that there needed to be some basic coverage of how to add membership capabilities to your ExpressionEngine website.

So, that's how Episode 8 came about.

In this episode, I cover how to add basic membership functionality to your website. Along the way, you'll learn how to restrict content to logged-in members, restrict entire templates based on member group, create a custom login form and add a drop-down custom field.

The episode is almost 30 minutes long and is downloadable in full size and iPod size.
